There are many different ways to style your hair with hair sticks. You can wear them in a bun, French twist, or chignon. You can also use them to style half up/half down hairstyles. Hair sticks are a great way to add texture and volume to your hair.
HAND CRAFTED
Designing the hair sticks is not as easy as one might think. The first thing to consider is the purpose of the hair stick. Is it for styling or holding the hair back? Once that is determined, then the shape and size of the bun pin can be chosen. If it is for styling, then a more ornate design might be chosen. If it is for holding back the hair, then a simpler design would work best.
The material of the bun pin is also important to consider. Wood, metal, or even silk threads are what we use for hair sticks. Each material has its own benefits and drawbacks. For example, wood is sturdy but can easily become wet and damaged; silver is strong and elegant but can be heavy; silk is lightweight and extremely attractive but can easily break.
